Any one going? I wonder if I can take my camera...Can't wait to see the guys in a big venue, it's been a long time.
The show at the Intersection as amazing. I caught the last 30 minutes of Black Stone Cherry, they were good, a lot of energy. Then Theory came on and after they got the sound right, they sounded incredible. At first I could barely hear Tyler and Dave's guitar was like on mute. But they adjusted and it was great after that. They have come along way since I first saw them...I think they started with Invisible Man...then on to a few off the new CD, then the crowd went crazy for Santa Monica. Dave was all over the place, the guy has unbelievable energy and Dean, he really worked the crowd...such a cutie! The new drummer was good too, not Brent, but still quite good. Then more off the new cd...I left right after So Happy, they left the stage. I am sure they came back out to play Bad Girlfriend and others, but I had to go. It was a full house and everyone seemed to be singing along to almost all the songs...Quite a change from the first time I saw them, me and the 20 people that showed up at the venue back in 2002[:D] By the way, they have some new merch too - very cool.
I'm on page 12 - 9-25-2002...do I get more vacation,a raise, a autograph from the band [:D]
The first time I saw Theory was '02, in a cool/dumpy bar in GR..there was about 20 people there, it was awesome!
