Theory Of A Deadman
Released: September 17th, 2002
Info/Tracklisting:
Tyler Connolly (vocals, guitar), Dave Brenner (guitar), Dean Back (bass) and Tim Hart (drums). Welcome Theory Of A Deadman.
Interesting Story: Back in 1999, as Nickelback was fast becoming one of Canada's most popular bands, Tyler just happened to show up at a party in his native Vancouver that was also attended by Chad Kroeger. A mutual friend introduced the two. Chad ended up listening to Theory's demo, and ended up being down with it. Next thing you know, Theory is in the studio recording, and Chad & Joey Moi producing. This is the first band on Chad's imprint 604 Records.
This is the next great Canadian rock.

3. Make Up Your Mind
4. Point To Prove
5. Leg To Stand On
6. What You Deserve
7. The Last Song

I love the font and angel on this album cover...so i tweaked it a bit in one of my computer programs and added my own flare to it. My sister and i are going to be getting matching tattoos of the design i made before she goes to college and hopefully Theory will come back to CO so we can get meet&greets with the band again to show them our ink!

I FINALLY got this record thru iTunes in exchange for watching my baby sis for a weekend while mom went to mexico. I already knew Nothing Could Come Between us and Make Up Your Mind from the special edition DVD that came with the special Edition of Scars and Souvenirs, so i now have all of the records. NCCBU is one of my favorite songs on this album along with The Last Song. TLS prolly outranks NCCBU, but i love them both a lot. I've really enjoyed the entire album and i listen to it ALL the time.
Thank you guys, you friken ROCK!

Back in the summer of '03 my brother told me to buy this disc and listen to song two. I had driven from Iowa to South Carolina to stay with my uncle for the summer and meet up with my girlfriend. Needless to say, by the next fall I was single again. Great song, guys. Great song. Sometime in '04 I heard on Rock 108 that you were coming to Cedar Rapids. I got 3 tickets to your show at Third Street Live- one for me, one for my cousin, and one for my brother - who was in Iraq, so he couldn't make the show, so we took a friend of my cousin's. It was a great show. I've got every album you've put out.
It all starts with ONE kick ass song. Keep playing hard!
